There is no better of an extreme sport or fun thing to do than riding a dirt bike.
Whether you simply are jumping hills and riding on a track or slinging mud, a dirt bike can get dirty very easily.
Mud can get caked on the spokes of the wheels and the flaps and fenders can also get very dirty.
The following is a look at just how to go about cleaning your dirt bike after a ride.
The most important thing when it comes to cleaning a dirt bike after a ride is to do the washing and cleaning immediately after riding.
The reason for this is that if you let the dirt dry on the bike it will become alot harder to get off.
It will become almost petrified looking.
If that is the case you are going to need a hammer or chisel along with water to get the dirt off.
A water hose is what you should use when it comes to cleaning a dirt bike.
Again, do it right after you have finished riding.
Once you have gotten the major dirt parts off of the tires and the body of the bike, let it dry a little then you can take a chamois or a rag and do the cleaning.
If you want to wax the body, that is up to you.
A simple soap and water solution is perfect for shining up the body.
It really isn’t much difference than washing and cleaning the exterior of a vehicle.
The most important thing though is to start cleaning immediately after you have finished riding.
